Never a bad breakfast. GF bread and great sandwiches. The staff has been there forever and the place is full of regulars making it a great atmosphere to be in.
It's a Naugy home town place! -

It was a nice visit today at Coddington's On The Meadow. I had a typical 2 eggs over hard, potatoes, toast, bacon, and coffee. I must say the potatoes are the best part. Most breakfast places don't get the potatoes right, but the Coddington gets this part right, each and every time.
If you never visited Coddington's then you missed a quaint, little, but charming, hole in the wall that you will thoroughly enjoy going to and eating at.
The owner's name is Kelly, and from what I see, she is the hardest worker I've ever seen. She does everything. She is like the energizer bunny. Don't try to follow her, and do what she does! It can't be done. Settle for 1/2. The work ethic she has is second to none.
I'm finishing this review now because the coffee is so delicious and I want a second cup. See ya at Coddington's.
2/5/19 it's still a five star -

So a year later I've revisited Coddington's On Meadow and I have to say I was very disappointed in the service. One server in particular seemed very rude. When our server forgot to give us straws for our drink we asked the over server and she grabbed a straw and threw it down on our table. The food seems to have lost its special quality too. Unfortunately I'm going to have to find a different place for me and my family to eat.

"Country Comfort"
Our first time at Coddington's and we liked it. Nice country style diner with a few regulars that enjoyed chatting with the owner and staff. Our waitress was new and a little nervous but she did good while taking care of us.
My wife had a sausage, tomato, and cheese omelette with home fries and rye toast.
I had the spanish omelette. Peppers, onions, and salsa omelette with home fries and rye toast.
It seemed to take more time than expected to prepare our breakfast. But once we tasted it we understood why. She obviously takes much care in preparing each dish because our breakfast was well seasoned and very tasty. Most places never cook the home fries enough. Coddington's are perfect.
We were seated across from the cash register. As we were eating, I noticed the painting on the wall below the register. I got a kick out of it. It's a painting of two stools at the counter. But they also painted a dollar bill and a set of keys on the floor as if someone dropped them. They obviouly have a sense of humor at the restaurant. We'll be back soon. -

Faster to buy a chicken and wait for the chicken to lay the eggs
The system to run the place consists of one person on the grill cooking one order at a time .
45 minutes to get our food
The waitress told people as they walked through the door 30 to 40 minutes as if she wanted them to leave!
Food is good!
